(ITEC – London, England) Esterline Simulation Visual Systems, a new business of Esterline Corporation (NYSE:ESL; www.esterline.com), today announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract by Thales to perform the maintenance of the visual display system on six ship bridge simulators for the French Navy. Four of the ship bridges are located at the French Naval Academy in Lanvéoc; and the French naval bases in Toulon and Brest each have one ship bridge. As part of the maintenance contract, Esterline will also upgrade the visual display system of two of the six simulators.
